Delivery of Classes
- No classes on (1) Public Holidays and (2) Cyclone Warning Class 1,2,3,4 (3) Force Majeur
Registration
- NIC, proof of address (CEB, MyT) must be shown upon registration
- Student cannot register for another course or take up another commitment during the same time slot unless Mehendi Lounge approves
- Minors – permission to follow the course should be obtained from Guardian and Mehendi Lounge assumes responsibility only within the training premises

Eligibility for certificate
- Minimum 80% attendance is compulsory. All students must complete the minimum number of hours required.
- Students must submit and pass all assignments and coursework. Submission on or after the last day of class will not be considered. Submission must be done by the deadline communicated.
- Assessments will be conducted in class as instructed by the trainer
- All assessments are compulsory and an integral part of the course. Students absent on their assessment day will be asked to come for the assessment again. Rescheduling of the assessment will be at Rs2000. A student will have only 1 chance to reschedule the assessment.
- Students should pass all components of the assessments and achieve an overall of 70% or more. Students achieving above 85% get Distinction
- For bundled courses,
- Overall attendance will be taken into account.
- Certificate will be given upon completion of all the courses and meeting all criteria
- Should a student request to reduce the number of courses being followed, the normal price of individual courses will apply.
- Students are required to adhere to the session/planning set for them to complete the course. Any amendment requested due to personal reasons, absences, non eligibility for assessments will require proof requested by the training centre. No request will be taken into consideration if proof is not provided. Requests will be taken on a case to case basis.
- A student can sit for an exam (Final Assessment) twice at most.
- Exam fees are to be paid at least 10 days prior to the scheduled exam. Exam fees are Rs1000 each, except if stated otherwise. An additional fee of Rs1000 will be charged for any delay of above payment
- If the student fails to meet eligibility or is taking the exam a second time, an additional Rs1000 will be charged 10 days prior to the new scheduled exam
- If the student asks to postpone her exams to the next scheduled exam or any situation arises where the student is not able to attend the scheduled exam, an additional Rs1000 will be charged. A student is allowed to postpone an exam only once.
- If the student refuses to attend the scheduled exam, next time the exam fees will be double the amount.
- All payments should be cleared 1 week before exams
- Once the student’s certificate(s) is ready for pickup and he/she is informed, the student has 6 months, starting that date, to come collect the certificate(s). Collecting certificate after 6 months will result in additional fees to reissue the certificate(s)
During classes
- All mobiles must be switched off or on silent.
- Sanctions will be taken for any major disturbance to the class.
- Students must bring their own equipment, materials and other items required for their class. The training centre reserves the right to stop the class should a student not bring an item required. The student may also be asked to leave class.
- Students must respect their trainer, staff of the institution and peers. Being rude to the team or telling them off by saying this is your job is not acceptable. The only person who is entitled to saying this is the one paying their salary.
- Students must not apply
- nail extensions for nail technology, manicure/pedicure courses
- mehendi for mehendi course
- Lashes for lash course
other than upon instruction of the trainer.

- High pitched and loud voices are not allowed in class
- No laughing or belittling or disrespecting any student or passing negative comments/attitude, we are all here to learn.
- No student to give any course explanation to another – only the trainer can explain
- Student cannot be accompanied during class sessions by any relative, friend or other
- Students can only access Mehendi Lounge premises and Concierge/Reception area
- Students should clean their work space before leaving the class. Tables should be put back to their original place, all stools stacked and put back to their original place, chairs to their initial position and all tissues, mehendi, water, wipes etc should be cleaned. If nail/gel polish/glue/mehendi or other gets smeared on table, walls, chairs, etc, the student should clean it up immediately to avoid further staining
- Students using the sink to wash any mehendi, paint, makeup or other should ensure no residue is left in the sink
- The office area is only for Mehendi Lounge Staff and clients. Students are not allowed to come near or regroup around office desks/storage space.
- Students should ensure the toilet is clean after use. Any sanitary pads/tissues are to be disposed into the bin provided. Reminder to flush. Keeping it clean ensures the next one gets it clean too.
- If late or absent, the student has to inform at least 15 mins before class starts and catch up with the missed session. Aracore/Mehendi Lounge reserves the right to refuse admission to the said class should the student be more than 30 minutes late or did not inform.
- There will be no catch up class for absences unless there is a parallel batch running. This also depends on the number of seats available.
- Aracore/Mehendi Lounge reserves the right to mark a student as absent should there be recurrent lateness or if the student does not participate sufficiently in class – practical sessions
- When students take a break from the course that exceeds 2 weeks, upon rejoining they may have to do the following:
- Take an evaluation assessment of their skill and knowledge of the course done to date
- Join the session/batch that matches their skill and knowledge so that they can continue the course properly
- If a student falls way behind in class due to her own negligence, Mehendi Lounge reserves the right to pause her course and conduct an evaluation assessment.
- Additional fees may apply
- Batch Change Due to Absenteeism
Students who have missed multiple sessions and request/are required to change their batch in order to rejoin or catch up will be considered as withdrawing from their current batch and re-enrolling in a new one.
- Such batch changes will be treated as a fresh registration.
- The student will be required to pay the full course fee applicable at the time of rejoining.
- No credit or discount will be applied from the previously paid course.

- Abuse of Batch Transfers
Students who habitually request batch changes without valid justification or who attempt to bypass attendance requirements will be flagged. Such behaviour may lead to:
- Permanent denial of batch transfers
- Refusal of course completion certification
- Expulsion from the training centre without refund
- Students have to reply to messages and failed calls from Mehendi Lounge within 12 hours.
Materials/Equipment
- Aracore/Mehendi Lounge will provide essential material/ equipment that are being taught during training to students where applicable.
- Each Student is responsible for the material/equipment used. For any damage, the student has to pay except for normal wear & tear.
Aracore/Mehendi Lounge coursework are copyrighted.
- Only Mehendi Lounge Students and ex Students are allowed to use this material for their OWN learning. They are not allowed to share, distribute or use the material to teach others.
- If the coursework is not being shared in the group, it means that not everybody is eligible for it. Such coursework should not be shared between students
- Any infringement to the above will result in legal action.
- Students cannot take photos of their peers’ work. Only the person who has done the assignment is allowed to take a photo of her work, and Mehendi Lounge Ltd
- All photos taken of Mehendi Lounge coursework, homework and others are property of Mehendi Lounge Ltd.
- Students are NOT allowed to post Mehendi Lounge coursework on their social media handles, unless authorized by Mehendi Lounge Ltd. Mehendi Lounge course sheets CANNOT be shared to anybody or on social media. Students should ensure proper watermarking of the work before sharing or posting, as approved by Mehendi Lounge Ltd.
Communication & General Terms
- WhatsApp should be installed on the student’s phone and used as instructed.
- Students have to reply to messages from Mehendi Lounge within 12 hours.
- Mehendi Lounge has an online shop to facilitate students looking to buy more products and equipment, set up their business etc

These rules and regulations may change and students will be notified of the changes when that happens. Not adhering to the above Rules and Regulations may result in suspension or expulsion of the student. In such a case, the student should clear any pending payments on the same day.
